Dada felt baby move

Dada got to feel our little girl A move last night for the first time. At first he thought it was me breathing. I kept asking did you feel her kick? She keeps kicking your hand. Then he realized it was little A, he was very excited. J still has no interest in feeling my belly. He thinks it is weird that little A kicks me and is inside there. He always tells me to let her down, that he wants to play with her and teach her ABC's and how to do puzzles (his latest obsession). It was a special moment last night and wanted to document. :)

Disneyland

Our last stop was Disneyland to meet the rest of the in-laws. We had a blast with three days in Disneyland and California Adventure. J loved meeting all the characters, especially Cinderella. I was worried he would be scared of the characters and the rides, but he loved it. On the rides that he was scared he wouldn't cry until the ride would stop, then he would want to go again. Playhouse Disney was a highlight of the visit. J had a great time with his cousins, especially Little M. They are such good buds and get along so well. She was the first and last thing he would talk about and misses her every day. We had a fantastic time, but it was nice to get home to our own bed and routine.

Beach in Carlsbad

On our way from San Diego to Disneyland we stopped in Carlsbad to visit our friend Monkey and take J to the beach for a few hours. It took J a few minutes to warm up to the ocean, but within a few minutes he was loving it and completely soaked and covered in sand. We had a great time catching up with Monkey at the beach and then he took us to a local Mexican restaurant. He lives a short five minute walk from the beach so we are hoping to visit again soon.

Sea World

We went to Sea World a few weeks ago with my in-laws. We had so much fun. Little J loved the dolphins, whales, and all the other water creatures. We drove down there over two days. I was worried how the drive would go, Little J was great and I didn't get sick. So it was a success.

Our new blog.

In this blog I am going to refrain from using any words that could identify us or where we live. This is my way to avoid going private... which I am not a fan of. Enjoy!!
