Visit to the farm

Spring is here and we enjoyed it by going to the farm with some cousins and friends. It was so nice to get out and enjoy the sunshine. The kids fed the ducks, had a picnic, saw lots of animals, played in the treehouse, and did lots of running!!

2 1/2 year olds can be a little too honest

This is how a conversation went between Jaxon and I the other day:

Jax: Mama's baby is BIG!

Me: What?

(Jax stuck his stomach out and)

Jax: Jaxon's baby is small, Mama's baby is really BIG!!

How sweet, huh!? He now tells me everyday that my baby is BIG! 

Update on the home front

12 weeks to go, yippee!!! I went to my midwife today and everything is great. I was relieved to find out I don't have a hernia, but I do have a vericosity. The downfall is that it is only going to get worse and more painful over the next 12 weeks, but good thing is it should go away after delivery and not have to have any surgery. She said it shouldn't affect my desire for a natural childbirth. Jaxon is getting more excited to be a big brother everyday. He loves telling everyone that his sisters name is Aliya Juel.
